The Virtual Costumer
Upcoming Issues
(Updated: 26 August 2010)
Here are upcoming issues of VC that are currently "under construction". Each issue includes a theme, a publication date, a list of planned articles, and the status. There is also a list of "wanted" articles for each issue. Please review the "wanted" lists and either contribute an article, or help identify contributors for these items.
A theme just helps tie together a group of articles. Feel free to submit articles on other subjects for any issue. Who knows, your article may even spark a new issue with its own theme. That actually happened with an article that a member recently submitted. Write about subjects that you know and love.
We are looking for additional feature-length articles for Volume 9 Issue 1 on "Fantasy Costuming." If you would be interested in writing an article on costumes or accessories for your favorite fantasy genre, please let us know.
The latest issue to be announced, Volume 9 Issue 2, will have "Militaria" as its theme. We're looking for articles on any imaginable aspect of military or military-inspired historical or sci-fi/fantasy costuming. Several articles are already committed or planned, so now is your chance to get in on this exciting new issue!
Contact us at vc@siwcostumers.org if you have ideas for themes, or would like to contribute articles for future issue. We'd love to hear from you! See the Submitting Articles page for information on preparing articles.
